An epic night of crazy fun and crazy energy. Connie Price and The Keystones, after doing a four show run with The Beatnuts, took to the stage on Juju’s birthday to get down and play all their hits at The Root Down’s 15 Year Anniversary. Also in the house was longtime LA cohort Aloe Blacc who asked CP & The K to back him on his hit “I Need A Dollar” and a couple more.

Tokyo, Japan – two sold out nights of Connie Price & The Keystones backing legends Big Daddy Kane and Kurtis Blow.

Kane blessed LA by doing this show with us in a club that holds maybe 250 people (Little Temple on Santa Monica Blvd.), needless to say the show was jam packed and the energy was off the charts. Connie Price & The Keystones not only backed Kane but also Percee P and Wildchild from Lootpack. Much love to Carlos Guaico, Miles Tackett and the whole Root Down family.
A one-off before the “Searching For Sugarman” documentary here in LA at the Echo. Connie Price & The Keystones were asked by the folks at Light In The Attic to back up Sixto Rodriguez as LITA had just re-released his two Sussex LP’s. A true honor.

An incredible night at the Independent in San Francisco celebrating Now Again Records killer re-issue of L.A. Carnival’s long lost (and super funky) LP. CP & The K played the whole LP and various singles with Leslie Smith and Lester Abrams from top to bottom and were supported by some of the best DJ’s and record collectors on the scene.
